About Woodstock Elementary School

Woodstock Elementary School opened in September 1957, originally housing grades 1 through 8 in 20 classrooms in an area of Virginia Beach formerly known as Herbert's Station. Its first principal was Jefferson Davis. A replacement building on the same site was constructed and dedicated on November 20, 2002, and the school now serves grades PK through 5 as part of Virginia Beach City Public Schools.
