About Floyd Kellam High School
Floyd E. Kellam High School is a public high school in Virginia Beach, Virginia, part of Virginia Beach City Public Schools. It first opened in 1962 and is named after Judge Floyd Eaton Kellam. In 2014 the school moved into a newly constructed facility, designed as a prototype for 21st-century learning with learning commons, collaboration spaces and modular classrooms.
The campus is located at 2665 West Neck Road in the Princess Anne area of Virginia Beach's southern section, an area that extends toward the North Carolina border. The school competes in the Virginia High School League's Beach District.
