About Landstown High School
Landstown High School opened in 2001 as Virginia Beach City Public Schools' 11th comprehensive high school and its only Technology Academy. In 2012-2013 it was additionally designated a Governor's STEM Academy (Governor's STEM and Technology Academy), and it has maintained state accreditation for over a decade.
