About Corporate Landing Middle School

Corporate Landing Middle School opened in 1997 to help relieve overcrowding in the southern section of Virginia Beach, with Dr. Edith Eidson serving as its first principal. It is one of the middle schools operated by Virginia Beach City Public Schools and serves students in grades 6 through 8.

The school sits at 1597 Corporate Landing Parkway in the Corporate Landing area of southern Virginia Beach and draws students from a number of surrounding elementary schools, including Birdneck, Brookwood, Christopher Farms, Corporate Landing, Holland, Ocean Lakes, Strawbridge and Three Oaks. The school reports a substantial military-connected student population, reflecting the surrounding community near Virginia Beach's naval installations.
