Landstown Lakes is a mid-1980s subdivision off Princess Anne Road in ZIP 23453, beside the Landstown schools campus and the Landstown Commons shopping center. It was built almost all at once: the homes that closed in the last two years were built in 1985 and 1986, and 16 of the 19 were detached two-story houses with four bedrooms, on lots of about a sixth of an acre. The lakes that name the neighborhood are real; five of the recent sales were lakefront. There is no homeowners association, which is unusual for a subdivision of this era in Virginia Beach.
