About Norview Middle School

Norview Middle School is a public school serving grades 6-8 in the Norview area of Norfolk, Virginia, within Norfolk City Public Schools. Public education on the site traces to the original Norview School of the early 1920s; after Norfolk County's Norview High School relocated, the older buildings served as Norview Junior High from 1955. The current Norview Middle School, an approximately 153,500-square-foot three-story building, opened in 1995 at a reported cost of about $11.5 million.
