James Monroe Elementary School is a public PK-5 school in the Norfolk City Public Schools division, located at 520 West 29th Street in the Park Place section of Norfolk, Virginia. The current building was rebuilt in 1990 and sits on a 12.8-acre campus at 29th Street and Colonial Avenue, containing 32 classrooms. The building is physically connected to the Park Place Multiple Purpose Center and the Park Place Recreation Center. The school's mascot is the Eagles.
